No. 1The hotel at a glance

The hotel is part of River Rock Casino Resort at 8811 River Road, Richmond. Great Canadian Entertainment operates the resort.

The resort's own stay page is the place to see current room types, rates and available dates. Room details, room counts and building layouts vary between booking listings. The desk therefore suggests confirming the room you are reserving directly with the resort.

For an overview of the wider property, please see River Rock Casino Resort.

No. 2Resort fee and what to check when booking

The resort publishes a resort fee of $19.99 CAD per room per night, plus tax. This is charged on top of the room rate. You may wish to include it when comparing prices.

Before you confirm a reservation, you may wish to check the following on the official site or with the hotel:

  • the nightly rate and total for your dates, including the resort fee and taxes
  • check-in and check-out times
  • the location of your room type within the resort
  • cancellation terms
  • accessibility features, if you need them

Rates and availability change, so the official site remains the reliable reference.

No. 3Overnight parking

The resort's hotel policy page lists these parking options:

OptionPublished rate
Self-parking, West lot (entrance off River Road)Free
Overnight valet$33.00 per night
Over-height self-parking, East Parkade$25.00 per night

The West lot is about a five-minute walk from the hotel entrance. Guests with over-height vehicles are asked to see the door person first. The resort does not publish a height limit on its own site, so you may wish to ask before arriving.

Dedicated EV parking is available through valet, and a surcharge may apply. Accessible spaces are provided in the self-parking lot, and valet is also available.

For more detail, please see Canada Line and parking.

No. 4Arriving without a car

Bridgeport Station on the Canada Line is beside the resort. This makes a stay practical for travellers arriving by air. The From YVR airport page explains the journey.

No. 5During your stay

The resort lists Absolute Spa, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. The pool and fitness centre are open from 6AM to 10PM.

For breakfast, The Chairman's Room Lounge on the third floor serves from 7 to 11:30AM. Gordon Ramsay Steak serves dinner daily from 5PM, and reservations are taken through OpenTable. If your stay coincides with a concert, the events page and The Show Theatre page have the details.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in indoor public places in British Columbia, and casinos are included.

No. 6The marina

The resort has a marina, which closed during the COVID-19 period. Dredging work was carried out as part of the resort's upgrades. The desk has not been able to confirm whether the marina has reopened or how many berths are available. If you plan to arrive by boat, please contact the resort directly.

No. 7If you visit the casino floor

Gaming areas are for adults 19 and over. Every visitor to a B.C. casino must show original, physical government-issued photo ID at the entrance. This applies to hotel guests as well.
